Most of pupils from Moldovan capital to return to education in classrooms as of 19 April

Chisinau, 15 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Health Extraordinary Commission of the Chisinau municipality has ruled that, starting from 19 April 2021, the children from the 1-4 forms, 5th, 9th and 12th forms would return to education in classrooms for classes with physical presence. The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, made statements to this effect.

According to Ceban, so far, about 40 per cent of the teachers from the Moldovan capital have been vaccinated against Covid-19. Thus, the commission decided the return of pupils from the elementary school, the ones of the 5th, 9th and 12th forms to learning in classrooms.  

At the same time, the commission allowed that the pupils to return to education in classrooms in art schools, both for individual activity and in group. Trainings are to be allowed in sports schools not only for the national teams, but also to all teams who train for competitions.

He specified that, this year too, the gates of cemeteries would be closed at the Easter of the Departed.
