Border police found 62 forged COVID tests last week

Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/- Last week, border guards identified 62 forged Covid-19 tests. Both citizens of the Republic of Moldova and foreign citizens were investigated.
According to the General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Ministry of Interior, under the law, the persons risk a fine of up to 32,500 lei or imprisonment for up to 2 years.
Recently, the total number of forged Covid-19 tests which were found at the state border crossing amounts to 270 documents.
In this context, the Border Police warns all participants in cross-border traffic not to try the vigilance and professionalism of employees.
