Moldovan presidency to host art exhibition

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan presidency will host this spring works of well-known painter Vladimir Palamarciuc. An exhibition with 36 paintings, many of them created in the pandemic year 2020 was inaugurated today in the institution's building. The paintings can be admired by guests of the presidency and employees of the presidential administration.

According to the presidential press service, during the four decades of creation Vladimir Palamarciuc has exhibited in many countries - France, Germany, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, being awarded numerous national and international awards. He creates in a modern, metaphorical style, oscillating between tapestry, collage and painting, with clear architecture and a lot of emotion. 

The painting exhibition in the Presidency building will operate on a permanent basis and will host painters and visual artists from our country. "We intend to send a signal of support for art creators in our country," President Maia Sandu said.

Inaugurating the permanent art exhibition, the institution reconfirms its commitment to encourage art in the Republic of Moldova and be the ambassador of Moldovan culture. Once the end of the pandemic period, the institution will consider the possibility to allow access of all those interested in visiting the exhibition.
