Martial hour to be canceled in Moldova from 26 April

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/- The Commission for Emergencies at today's meeting ordered the cancellation on 26 April of the martial hour, set up with the decree of the state of emergency (1 April - 30 May) in Chisinau and Balti. Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi made the statement today.
"From 26 April the martial hour will be repealed in the country (between 23.00 and 5.00), for which I want to thank my colleagues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, other structures, which ensured public order and compliance with the announced ban from the beginning of the state of emergency ", said Aureliu Ciocoi.
He also said that from 26 April professional internships will be allowed for vocational technical education institutions, as well as higher education, especially those where it is impossible to do them online.
"Another good news is that from 2 May it will be allowed to resume theatrical-concert activities, with a maximum capacity of 30% of the number of seats ", Aureliu Ciocoi said.
The official also noted that religious services will also be allowed in the open air, provided that the social distance of 1.5 meters between the parishioners and other sanitary-epidemiological norms are observed.
He said that the facilities were possible due to the positive dynamics in the country's pandemic statistics and urged citizens to follow all indications and recommendations of the authorities so that there is no need to return to restrictions.
