Several settlements from two Moldovan districts to benefit from compensation of difference of tariffs for electric energy

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today approved, in the final reading, a draft law on the amendment and completion of the law on the compensation of the difference of tariffs for electric energy and natural gas used by the residents from several settlements from the Dubasari and Causeni districts, as well as from the Varnita village, Anenii Noi district.   

The draft stipulates that the residents from five villages of the Causeni district and nine villages of the Anenii Noi district will benefit from compensation.  

Also, the draft law proposes the revising of the compensated consumption volume of electricity and natural gas on the warm period of the year, which has not been revised for almost two years.  

The legislative initiative was put forward by the lawmakers of the faction of the Party of Socialists (PSRM). A similar draft was unveiled by Deputy Parliament Speaker Alexandru Slusari, the ACUM faction, Dignity and Truth Platform, which has earlier been merged with the draft.

So far, the residents of five villages of the Dubasari district, one village of the Causeni district and one village of the Anenii district have benefited from the compensation of the difference of tariffs for electric energy and natural gas.
