Moldovan parliament extends term of work of two special commissions

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament has approved the extension of the work of the inquiry commission for elucidating the circumstances of the sale of the trade unions’ heritage, as well as of the special commission for assessing the integrated management of water resources from the basin of the Dniester river and its tributaries. At the today’s plenary meeting, the MPs approved two draft decisions to this effect.        

The special commission for assessing the integrated management of water resources from the basin of the Dniester river and its tributaries, the mandate of  which expires on 12 May 2021, extends its term by another three months. This commission was set up, in order to involve all competent state authorities in its work, to hear the sides and people involved, in order to present to parliament the report on the work carried out.      

Also, the inquiry commission for elucidating the circumstances of the sale of the trade unions’ heritage will prolong its period of activity till 15 May 2021. Thus, the commission’s report is to be approved at its final meeting and subsequently, the report on the de jure and de facto circumstances as to the sale of the trade unions’ heritage is to be unveiled in parliament’s plenum.
