Moldova gained bronze medal at European wrestling championship

Chisinau, 23 April /MOLDPRES/- Moldova participates in the European Wrestling Championship, held on 19-25 April in the Polish capital, Warsaw. Our country is represented at the international competition by the national teams of wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling and women's wrestling, for the moment already gaining a bronze medal.

The members of the wrestling team evolved first in the competition. Athlete Maxim Saculțan, 65 kg, won the bronze medal. Mihail Sava, 70 kg, and Valentin Borzin, 74 kg, ranked 5th.

Also, Emilia Cîrîcu-Budeanu will fight in the small final of the 50 kg weight category, Anastasia Nichita will also fight in the small final of the 59 kg weight category.
