Painting exhibition by Moldovan fine artist inaugurated at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 23 April /MOLDPRES/ - An aquarelle and pastel exhibition titled, Fine Art Contrasts, by fine artist, university lecturer at the Textiles and Polygraphy Faculty of the Moldovan Technical University Ludmila Zastavniţchi-Şeremet, at her 50th birthday anniversary, was inaugurated at the National History Museum of Moldova today.     

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the deputy director of the museum, Mariana Vasilache, said that the exhibition comprised 30 works made in aquarelle technique (2020-2021) and pastel (made in 2011 and dedicated to the cubism style).  

Born in Sangerei on 3 April 1971, Ludmila Zastavniţchi-Şeremet studied at the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University, the Fine Arts and Design Faculty in 1991-1995 and made the master studies at the Industrial Design specialty of the  Light Industry Faculty of the Moldovan Technical University (1999-2000). She launched the first paining album in 2013. The works by Zastavniţchi-Şeremet are displayed in lecture rooms from the faculty where she works and are present in private collections from the USA, Germany, Romania, Russia and Moldova. Since 1995, she has worked as university lecturer of the Moldovan Technical University and as of 2007 – member of the Fine Artists’ Union from Moldova.   

The exhibition will be opened till 23 May.
