5,790 homes purchased under First Home Program

Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/- So far, 5,790 homes have been purchased through the First Home program. The total amount of loans granted by banks is 2.94 billion lei, and the total value of active guarantees is 1.47 billion lei.

According to the Ministry of Finance, out of the total number, 1048 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget under First Home program 2, 2527 - First Home 3, 856 - First Home 4 and 17 - First Home 5.

Out of 5,790 beneficiaries, 3,973 are families and 1,817 are unmarried young people. The average age of the applicants is 31 years. The average value of purchased homes is 609.47 thousand lei. Out of the total number of purchased homes, 5,292 are apartments and 498 individual houses.

The program beneficiary can be a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, aged between 18 and 50 years, who is officially employed at a state institution or private company in the country and has income from official sources.
