Government to allocate 20,000 euros to bureau of lawyers defending Moldova's interests in Stockholm

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet will earmark 20,000 euros to the bureau of lawyers who defend Moldova’s interest in Stockholm, in the case of the granting of the Chisinau Airport, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

In this respect, the cabinet of ministers today approved a draft decision, under which the Public Property Agency allocates from the government’s reserve fund a sum equivalent in lei of 19,700 euros for the payment of the expertise services, witnesses, as well as the sum equivalent in lei of 1,075 euros for the payment of the stenography services, proposed by the Buruiană & Partners Associated Bureau of Lawyers in the process of defence of the state’s interests in the cause of international investment arbitration Komaksavia Airport Invest LTD against Moldova.

The draft is to be subjected to anti-corruption expertise by the National Anticorruption Centre.
