Unstable, rainy weather expected in Moldova on Easter

Chisinau, 30 April /MOLDPRES/ - The weather will be unstable on the next days, when Orthodox Christians celebrate the Easter, because of the cyclones moving from the Mediterranean Sea, the State Hydrometeorological service (SHS) has reported.

According to meteorologists, on 1 May, light rain is expected in the northern districts. The air temperatures will oscillate between +20 and +25 Celsius degrees and at night – between +7 and +12 degrees.

On 2, when Easter is marked, as well as on 3 May, short thunderstorm rains are forecast in more regions. The air temperature will vary between +19 and +24 degrees during the day and between +10 and +15 degrees at night, including on the Easter night. The wind will be light to moderate.

„We might regard the end of this week, as well as the beginning of the next one as the end of an episode of cold spring,’’ SHS specialists said.
