Chisinau, 4 May /MOLDPRES/- Another 27 people are investigated for possession or presentation of falsified Covid-19 PCR tests. The illegalities were registered last week at the crossing of the state border through PTF Chisinau International Airport, PTF Criva and PTF Palanca.

According to the General Inspectorate of the Border Police, 12 forged tests were found on passengers of Poland - Moldova route, all of them Moldovan citizens returning home on Easter Eve. If tests are forged, people risk a fine of up to 32,500 lei or imprisonment for up to 2 years.

According to the rules of crossing the state border during the pandemic, in order to be exempted from the self-isolation measure, persons must present the negative result of the PCR COVID-19 test, performed at most 72 hours before boarding (for those traveling by means of public transport) or entry into the territory of the Republic of Moldova (for those traveling with their own means).
