Falesti, Floresti cities to work out urban revitalization programs

Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/- Falesti and Floresti cities will work out urban revitalization programs (PRUs), due to the initiation of a new cooperation between the Polish Solidarity Fund PL Moldova and the North Regional Development Agency (ADR) Nord.

The two localities will be supported by Balti, Edinet, Soroca and Sangerei, previously involved in this process, which will update their urban revitalization programs, to be in line with the new circumstances, including the provisions of the National Fund for Regional Development and with the experience gained by cities. Currently, ADR Nord provides technical assistance for Floresti and Falesti in the process of developing the PRU.

In the Republic of Moldova, the urban revitalization process was initiated in 2017 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, with the support of the Ministry of Funds for Development and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland, in cooperation with Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova.
