Regulation on public procurement to be published in Official Journal of Moldova

Chisinau, 6 May /MOLDPRES/- The Official Journal on 7 May will publish the Regulation on organizing and functioning of central purchasing authorities. It sets out the minimum requirements for the centralized and local level II procurement procedures for the creation, initiation and conduct of public procurement procedures.

According to the government decision, the central purchasing authorities responsible for organizing and centralized conducting of public procurement procedures in order to meet the needs of the same goods, works or services for the central public authorities shall be appointed by the government.

The central and local public authorities of level II, when drafting the acts of constitution of the central purchasing authorities, will comply with the provisions of the Regulation on organization and functioning of the central purchasing authorities.

The central public authorities, under whose activity the central purchasing authorities operate, will bring the regulations for the organization and functioning of the central purchasing authorities in accordance with this decision within three months of publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
