As many as 145 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 9 May /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 2,393 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 145 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 252,749 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), no medical employees have been recorded out all the number of infection cases.

As many as 1,424 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 170 are in extremely serious condition (25 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus.

In the context, 1,661 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,360 are under supervision at home.

Another 339 people have been treated. As many as 243,534 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 9 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 5,952 people have died of coronavirus in all.
