British Minister for European Neighborhood to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/- British Minister for European Neighborhood Wendy Morton will pay a two-day official visit to Chisinau on 11-13 May.

According to a communiqué of the British Embassy in Chisinau, Wendy Morton will meet with President Maia Sandu, acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Aureliu Ciocoi, and Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc.

At the same time, the British official will have meetings with some representatives of the projects financed by the United Kingdom in Moldova, including in combating gender violence, media freedom and promoting creative industries.

At the end of the visit, Wendy Morton will also meet with Minister of Defense to discuss bilateral relations in the field.
