Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - The custom of public round dances has been resumed in the southern Cahul city, organized traditionally in the Square of Round Dances from the centre of this settlement. The first representation following the pandemic took place on 16 May, with a small number of spectators.
The local administration says that, for the time being, the epidemiological situation does not allow the bringing together of all city’s residents willing to attend the event, ‘’just as it happened in the good times.’’
At the time, the Cahul city hall gave assurances that, once the state of things allows this, the Round Dances from Cahul would be resumed, becoming the principal Sunday event of the settlement, which made it famous in Moldova and abroad.
