Repair of Hancesti-Giurgiulesti highway of Moldova to be finished nin 2023

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - The leadership of the State Administration of Roads (ASD) today assessed, along with the entrepreneur from Turkey, the implementation of the contract on the restoration of 83 km of the national road R34 Hancesti-Leova-Cahul-Giurgiulesti. The sides estimated that the project was scheduled to be finished in early 2023.

According to ASD, the entrepreneur commits to fully complete the rehabilitation works by the end of February 2023.

The project on the rehabilitation of the R34 national road includes the reconstruction of the present road system, rehabilitation of nine bridges and 57 tubular footbridges, arrangement of public transport stops and reestablishment of the street illumination in settlements.

The contract is worth over 56 million euros – money lent by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
