About 6,000 houses purchased through First Home Program

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/- Through First Home program, 5,956 houses have been purchased so far. The total amount of loans granted by banks is 3.05 billion lei, and the total value of active guarantees is 1.52 billion lei.

According to the Ministry of Finance, out of the total number 4,094 are families, and 1,862 are unmarried young people. The average age of applicants is 31.4 years. Also, out of the total number of beneficiaries, 1,066 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget within the program First Home 2, 2,570 - under First Home 3, 890 - First Home 4 and 17 - First Home 5.

Beneficiary of the First Home program can be a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, aged between 18 and 50 years, who is officially employed by a state institution or private company in the country and has income from official sources.
