Moldovan Moldovan citizens to be evacuated from Gaza Strip

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - The acting cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, voted for the allocation of financial means needed for the evacuation of a group of 31 Moldova’s citizens from the Gaza Strip.
The draft decision was announced by acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi, who demanded the decision’s urgent approval.
Under the document, the Finance Ministry will earmark 150,000 lei for the evacuation of seven women and 24 children, citizens of Moldova, from the Gaza Strip.
Presently, military operations and combat actions are held in the Gaza Strip, which pose danger for Moldovan citizens.
