Moldovan wrestler gets golden medal at European Under-23 Championship

Chisinau, 22 May /MOLDPRES/ - A Moldovan wrestler, Irina Ringaci, on 21 May won the golden medal at the European Under-23 Championship in Skopje.
The 19-year-old wrestler gained three victories at the weight category of 65 kg with Nerea Blanco (Spain), Kamila Kulwicka (Poland) and Kateryna Zelenych (Ukraine).
Irina Ringaci is the second Moldovan sportswoman to get the golden medal at the competition in North Macedonia. On day earlier, Anastasia Nichita won the golden medal at the weight category of up to 59 kg.
In Skopje, other Moldovan free-style wrestlers got three medals. Thus, Nicolai Grahmez and Radu Lefter won silver medals at the weight categories of 70 and 97 kg, respectively, and Gheorghe Erhan got the bronze medal at the weight category of 92 kg.
