Chisinau city hall to postpone events dedicated to International Children's Day

Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/- Due to bad weather conditions, the outdoor events dedicated to 1 June will be moved to take place at the end of the week.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban said at today's municipal services meeting that due to bad weather conditions, the cultural and artistic events scheduled for the celebration of International Children's Day will take place at the end of this week. "Meteorologists forecast three rainy days, starting with 1 June. The events dedicated to children will be moved to take place at the end of the week ", he said.

In this context, he asked the Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports and the Department of Culture to monitor the situation created to select which of the cultural-artistic events can be switched.

Meteorologists announced rain and cold weather for 1-3 June.
