Moldovan parliament launches online parliamentary camp, second issue

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/- On International Children's Day, Moldovan Parliament launches a new edition of the online parliamentary camp, dedicated to children in the country, aged 10-18, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The event will take place on 28 June - 2 July and will include sessions for three age groups - 10-12 years, 13-15 years and 16-18 years. The program will focus on the history of the 30 years of Independence of the country and the Parliament, constitutional norms for children, current issues on COVID-19 pandemic, as well as interactive communication activities.

Special guests will be MPs, ombudsman for child rights, leadership of the Secretariat of the Parliament, as well as specialists from various fields, who will share activity and experience.

Participants will virtually visit the Legislative building, compete in the ideas lab, answer quiz questions, and the most active will have surprises.

The registration at the camp will take place on Facebook page of the institution, on 10-20 June. Interested children and young people are asked to follow Parliament's posts.

On the occasion of the International Children's Day, marked today, speaker Zinaida Greceanîi conveyed a message to all children in the country: “Dear children, I wish you to spend your vacation safely and happily. Have a wonderful rest and pleasant impressions! And to those who are going to pass exams, I wish them good luck and courage - do not be afraid, in this difficult year of studies you have already proved you are fighters and winners! A clear future for all children and young people in the Republic of Moldova! ”.
