Moldovan deputy premier, pupils from Bender-based lyceum plant trees on Children's Day

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - Pupils of the Alexandru cel Bun lyceum from the Bender city, along with acting Deputy Prime Minister Olga Cebotari, the institution’s headmaster and representatives of the Reintegration Policies Bureau today planted trees and flowers in a park placed on the territory of the boarding school for orphans and children who remained without parental care from Bender, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.     

The event was held on the occasion of marking the Children’s Day and took place at an initiative by Deputy Prime Minister Olga Cebotari, who gave children symbolic presents, discussed and listened to each of them.   

„You are everybody a hope for a better future. It is our duty to ensure fair chances and proper support, so that you, the present children, become future responsible, fulfilled and involved adults,’’, Olga Cebotari said in her addressing to pupils.    

Also, the officials gave assurances that the Chisinau authorities kept a close eye on the lyceum’s work, just as it acts in relation with all Latin-script schools from Bender, Tiraspol and Rabnita, as well as from the Dubasari district and all possible efforts are undertaken to solve the problems faced by them and ensure the uninterrupted functionality.   

„You have made extraordinary efforts and adapted to various situations and circumstances, thus understanding that the education stays equally important in all this period; I wish success to the teachers and pupils who will soon take the evaluation examinations of the end of the school year,’’ the deputy prime minister added.
