Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/- Theaters in the capital will present several shows on 5-6 June.

Thus, on 5 June at 18.00, the National Theater Mihai Eminescu will perform the play "Files of Siberia" by director Petru Hadârcă, after the memoirs of Ecaterina Chele, deported in 1941, Margareta Cemârtan-Spânu, deported in 1949, and Ion Moraru, politically sentenced in 1950 to 10 years by GULAG.

According to the director of the institution, Petru Hadârcă, the idea to perform "Files of Siberia" came after he made several radio shows dedicated to deportations on Radio Bucharest. These are “Deportees to Siberia” and “Twenty Years in Siberia”, after the text of Anita Andriș-Cudla, as well as “Stalin stole my childhood”, by Boris Vasiliev and others.

On the same day, at 6.30 pm, the Luceafărul Theater brings back on stage the show “Tata” (Father) by Dumitru Matcovschi, directed by Slava Sambriș. It marked an important page in the evolution of national theater and performing arts.

Also on Saturday, at 11.00, the Russian State Dramatic Theater A. P. Chekhov will present the show - Musicians from Bremen based on the story of the Brothers Grimm, directed by Ghenadii Boiarkin. The show is a fairy tale known to everyone from childhood about the adventures of a cheerful young troubadour and his friends - donkey, dog, cat and rooster and tells us about true friendship, kindness and love.

On Sunday, at 18.00, the Mihai Eminescu National Theater is waiting for audience at the show “The Nameless Star” by Mihail Sebastian directed by Alexandru Cozub. In a dilapidated, provincial town, Professor Miroiu divides his life between books and stars.

On the same day, at 6.30 pm, at the Luceafărul Theater, the show Testament by Gheorghe Urschi will take place. It was staged at the Luceafărul Theater for the first time in 1992. According to the organizers, it is a comedy with a "hot" subject from the immediate reality of those times that is played all these years with the hall full. The main hero, Pricoche Sâmbure, is a peasant with dignity that you cannot deceive or "buy" with vain promises. His three sons, Iacob, Alecu and Nichita, do not resemble him at all. They are different, representing a wider spectrum of our contemporaries - some are greedy, others have tried to adapt to the times, and the third category reflects the political losers.

Also on Sunday, at 11.00.  A. P. Chekhov Theater will present the show“ The kid and Karlson ”by Astrid Lindgren directed by Evghenii Bognibov.
