Chisinau, 10 June /MOLDPRES/ - The local authorities of the Chisinau municipality have started undertaking measures of replacing the street illumination on the Grigore Vieru boulevard.

The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, informed that the alley of the aforementioned boulevard had reached the last stage of rehabilitation. ‘’The irrigation has been already set and the new urban furniture will be set and the fence on this perimeter was renovated and painted,’’ Ceban said.

According to the mayor, LED-type illumination will be set in the last stage of renovation. Ceban noted that there had earlier been tens of advertising panels on the Grigore Vieru boulevard, at intersections, even on the alley. ‘’The city was suffocated by tens of advertising panels, the number of which was particularly large on the Vieru boulevard,’’ the mayor specified.

Under the draft municipal budget for 2021, the own planned revenues of the Chisinau municipality are 670 million lei. More than 600 million lei will be spent for the repair and restoration of roads in the Moldovan capital.
