One day left for registration of electoral contenders in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 June /MOLDPRES/ - The candidates for the snap parliamentary elections due on 11 July have one more day left for submitting the documents for registration as electoral contenders, till 1 June at 16:00.

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) reminds that 11 June 2021 is the last day for submitting documents for the registration of candidates for the 11 July snap parliamentary polls.

Thus, the files of applicants can be submitted till 11 June at 16:00. If two or more aspirants submit the acts for registration on this day, at 17:00, CEC will hold a meeting to organize the drawing of lots and establish the preliminary order of potential candidates’ registration in the ballot paper.

CEC has registered 17 electoral contenders for the 11 July snap parliamentary elections and another two files are under consideration.
