As many as 43 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,762 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 379 quick antigen tests and 43 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 255,758 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees.

As many as 196 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 55 are in extremely serious condition (13 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 93 people have been treated. As many as 248,594 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, 692 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,682 are under supervision at home.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,152 people have died of coronavirus in all.
