As many as 60 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,023 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 60 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 256,054 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), no cases of infection were registered among medical employees.

As many as 154 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 43 are in extremely serious condition (9 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 82 people have been treated. As many as 249,066 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, 632 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,191 are under supervision at home.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,165 people have died of coronavirus in all.
