As many as 49 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 19 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,238 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 49 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 256,103 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), no cases of infection were registered among medical employees.

As many as 153 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 42 are in extremely serious condition (8 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 653 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,410 are under supervision at home.

Another 63 people have been treated. As many as 249,129 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,168 people have died of coronavirus in all.
