South Regional Development Agency of Moldova has new director

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ - The new director of the South Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud) is Olga Gorban,  who was introduced to the staff by Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Minister Ion Perju.

"I convey you congratulations and I wish you to make remarkable progress through achieving the goals set and bring a substantial contribution to the process of implementing the regional development projects, as well as in the institution’s managerial process,’’ the minister said.  

For her part, Olga Gorban thanked for the confidence given, noting that she would do her utmost for the institution to work for the benefit of the citizens from the South Development Region, achieving palpable results, in order to efficiently carry out the priorities and objectives of the national regional development policy.

Olga Gorban was elected to the office of director of ADR Sud based on contest for a four-year period. The contest was organized by Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ministry.

Olga Gorban is 46 years old and has degree in economics. She graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, management specialty and worked as head of the Finance Department of the Cimislia District Council. She is master of economics and finished the Academy of Public Administration of Moldova.  

Maria Culesov earlier worked as ADR Sud director on the period 2009-2021.
