As many as 5,240 children registered in first form in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall informs that 5,240 children were registered in the public institutions from the Moldovan capital for the 2021-2022 school year in the first stage of schooling of the 7-year-old children, which is more than a half of the places envisaged.

For the new academic year, 9,108 children are scheduled to be registered in 340 classes in those 141 primary and secondary education institutions, cycles I and II, without the private education institutions.

The stage I of children’s registration in school was held on 1 April – 11 June and the second one continues on 14 June -30 August, for the filling of those 3,868 places available.

In the end of the first stage, 11 public education institutions managed to fill all places provided for first-form pupils.

In Chisinau, the children’s schooling is held online, through the webpage www.escoala.chisinau.md, which can be accessed on the platform www.educatieonline.md.
