Personal exhibition by Moldovan fine artist inaugurated at National Library

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ - A panting exhibition titled, My eternal blue, by fine artist Galina Vieru was inaugurated at the National Library today.  

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Galina Vieru said that the exhibition comprised 37 paintings. One of her passions represents the subjects related to the national Moldovan symbols: national costume, women’s and men’s shirt, old traditional houses with popular architectural details, gates and doors of old houses, colours of the extinguishing old houses.   

Galina Vieru was born in the Putintei village, central Orhei district, in 1983. She graduated from the Fine Arts and Design Faculty of the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University from Chisinau in 2005. Afterwards, Vieru had master education at the same institution during 2005-2006. In 2006-2007, she was teacher of fine art education at the Chisinau-based Nicolae Balcescu theoretical lyceum, as well as at the Univers Moldova vocational school, where she taught design.

In 2012-2014, Galina Vieru had personal exhibitions at the National Library of Moldova, Organ Hall, B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library, Chisinau-based Consulate of Romania, Palace hall from Bucharest.      

The exhibition will be opened till 31 August. The entrance is for free.
