Romanian universities fair to be held in early July

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/- The Federation of Romanian Youth Everywhere (FTRP) will organize Romanian Universities Fair in early July. The event is in its 10th edition this year and aims to inform high school and high school graduates from the Republic of Moldova about admission to pre-university and university education in Romania for 2021.

According to the Federation, the University Fair will take place on 2-5 July, as follows: July 2-3 - Chisinau, Aleea Clasicilor, between 09:00 and 16:00; July 4 - Bălți municipality, Mihai Eminescul High School, 09:00 - 16:00; July 5 - Cahul municipality, B.P. Hasdeu university, 10:00 -15:00.

During the event, young people interested in continuing their studies in Romania will have the opportunity to find out about the admission process to pre-university and university studies in Romania and to find out all the necessary information about the period of admission to Romanian Universities, the number of places allocated for Romanian ethnics, the list of necessary documents, the criteria for selecting candidates, as well as other useful information.

They will also have the opportunity to interact with the volunteers of the 14 member associations of the federation, from the largest university centers in Romania, who study at one of the educational institutions in Romania and who will share their own experiences regarding the studies in Romania, student life, volunteering, job opportunities, educational and cultural programs, etc.

Volunteers from the federation and member associations, who are part of the organizing team of the Romanian Universities Fair, will ensure the proper management and conduct of the event, taking into account the provisions in force at that time, on combating the pandemic and all rules safety.

„Romania annually provides around 5,000 scholarships for pupils and students from the Republic of Moldova and many facilities compared to other foreign students: free or almost free accommodation for young people admitted to the budget, the possibility of temporary employment, access to cultural and educational programs type Erasmus, Work and Travel etc. Moreover, continuing studies in Romania is a very good opportunity for middle school and high school graduates from the Republic of Moldova given the prestige of Romanian universities internationally and obtaining an internationally recognized degree, and the possibility of involvement in extracurricular activities through programs diversified by volunteering ”, Cristin Murafa, president of FTRP Romania said.
