Concert on launch of Camerata municipal orchestra takes place in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Culture Department of the Chisinau municipality organizes a concert on the launch of the Camerata Chisinau Municipal Orchestra.

The event’s goal is to promote the artistic treasure of Moldova. The new band is led by Mihai Amihalachioaie.

According to a press release by the institution, the concert is dedicated to the 585th anniversary of the first documented mention of the Chisinau city and will be held at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre on 8 July at 18:00.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the Culture Department of the Chisinau Municipal Council, Valentina Volontir, said that there were 14 artistic bands subordinated to the Department, among which the Folk Music Orchestra of the Advahov Brothers, ethno-folkloric band Plaiesii, led by Nicolae Gribincea, the municipal chamber orchestra, conducted by Vladimir Andrian, the Ethno Jazz ”TRIGON’’ band, led by Anatolie Stefanet, etc.
