Moldovan president pays working visit to Sangerei district

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today continued her working visits to the central Sangerei district, where she discussed with representatives of local public authorities, entrepreneurs, physicians and teachers, the presidential press service has reported.   

„I talked to people about the Presidency’s priorities and I asked them about their expectations. People want a better cooperation with the central public administration, correctness in allocation of money for local level projects, assistance in settling complex problems, such as the carrying out of projects on water and sewerage supply, waste management,’’ the head of state said.  

In discussions with the Moldovan president, economic agents said that they were expecting a government made up of a professional and correct team, which is to get them rid of abusive controls and remove obstacles to doing business and expect from the future parliament a true reform of justice. ‘’The combating of corruption, problems from education, medicine, economy can be solved with a responsible governance at all levels, beginning with the parliament,’’ Maia Sandu stressed.   

The head of state reiterated that the degree of responsibility of the next parliament and what government the latter is to appoint depended on the citizens’ participation in the 11 July elections.
