Moldovan State Protection and Guard Service officers get silver medal at international championship of body guards

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - Officers of the State Protection and Guard Service (SSPS) have ranked second out of those 27 teams which participated in the international championship of body guards, held in Cherkassy, Ukraine.

He 11th issue of the competition was held on 17-20 July and comprised events in target shooting, handling the fire gun, driving a vehicle in extreme conditions, pedestrian escorting, etc.

Thus, besides the silver got at the team events, Moldovan body guards individually ranked first in target shooting, first in driving vehicles in extreme conditions and second in the event of pedestrian escorting.

In the general ranking, the State Guard Department of Ukraine was on the first position; the State Protection and Guard Service of Moldova ranked second and the team of Romanian ranked third.
