Increased traffic at three border crossing points - IGPF says

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/- At the border crossings of Leușeni, Sculeni and Cahul, today there is increased traffic on both directions. The announcement was made by the General Inspectorate of Border Police / IGPF /, which urges travelers to opt for other customs posts.

All control tracks were opened this morning and the number of inspectors was supplemented to cope with the flow.

"Given the pandemic period, in which it is necessary to fill out the epidemiological file by people who do not have documents that would exempt them from self-isolation, border control is much more difficult than usual. And due to the large flow of passengers, there are some difficulties in working with the IGPF information system ", the communiqué of the institution reads.

Passengers are urged to find out before leaving for the road and to opt for other crossing points open to traffic such as: PTF Costești, PTF Lipcani, PTF Giurgiulești-Galați.
