Moldovan speaker conveys messages of gratitude for congratulations on election

Chisinau, 5 August /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu sent messages of thanks to officials from the country and abroad, in the context of the congratulations addressed to him on his election as speaker, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The official voiced confidence that through joint efforts
Moldova will know new development perspectives and at the same time fully assume the responsibility to work honestly and with dedication for the benefit of the law and the citizens.
The speaker was congratulated by Konstantinos Tasoulas, Speaker of the Hellenic Republic; Dmitry Razumkov, Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of People's Representatives throughout China; Domnica Manole, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova; Vladimir Kisha, Head of the People's Assembly of Gagauzia, as well as ambassadors, high church leaders.
Igor Grosu was elected speaker on 29 July during the constituent sitting of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova of the 11th legislature.
