Festival dedicated to public services to be held in Straseni

Chisinau, 7 August /MOLDPRES/- Lozova, Straseni will host tomorrow the first festival of quality public services with the title Straseni, mon amour, which will include activities, exhibitions, discussions, ecological fair, rest, with the participation of the band Zdob and Zdub.
Lilia Curchi, executive director of the Association of Environmental and Ecological Tourism Journalists, said that, placed in a picturesque landscape - in the "Codrii" Nature Reserve, the event will include spaces for rest, workshops on ecological topics (waste selection , composting, energy efficiency, etc.), discussions with local public authorities and experts on public services, fair with environmentally friendly products (fruits, vegetables, handicrafts, ecological detergents, pellets, etc.), exhibitions of folk craftsmen, etc.
The festival is organized by the Association of Environmental Journalists, within the Local Grants Program of the European Union - the project Civic involvement, for quality public services in Straseni district, funded by the EU and implemented by the Cooperation Agency International Union of Germany (GIZ). Also, five town halls from Straseni district are involved in the project - Straseni, Lozova, Vorniceni, Sireți, Zubrești. The event is also organized thanks to the support of Sweden and the Codrii Reserve.
At the festival are expected guests from Straseni district, from the capital, from all over the country, followers of a civilized way of life, who feel part of society, get informed, ask the authorities for good governance, but also get involved where they think it is needed. The event will start at 12:00, with exhibitions, fair, workshops, visits to the museum of Codrii Reservation, rest and walks.
The Association of Environmental and Ecological Tourism Journalists is the beneficiary of the Local Grants Program of the European Union and implements the project Civic involvement, for quality public services in Straseni district.
The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Agency for International Cooperation of Germany (GIZ). The project partner for the Center Development Region is the Association for Efficient and Responsible Governance AGER, in collaboration with the Public Association Agency for Regional Development Habitat.
