Construction of water catchment area in Prut started in Glodeni district

Chisinau, 9 August /MOLDPRES/- Near Bisericani village, Glodeni district, the construction-assembly works of the water catchment area from the Prut river started. The works are carried out within a drinking water supply project of Cuhnești and Balatina communes, implemented by the North Regional Development Agency (ADR) and financed by the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR).

Previously, four pumps were installed at the site of the water catchment station on the Prut River near Bisericani.

"Within the same project, at the site of the water treatment plant near Balatina commune, concrete paving works have been carried out lately. The machine that will treat the pumped water from the Prut River is to be installed here. The water treatment plant (50 m3 / h) was brought to the site in June. The construction-assembly works within this project started at the beginning of November 2020 ”, indicates ADR Nord.

The total cost of the project, according to the procurement contract, is 38.96 million lei. In 2020, 19.29 million lei were capitalized within the project. At the beginning of this year, another 19.67 million lei were allocated for the completion of the construction-assembly works executed within the project.
