Gavrilita government approved several dismissals, appointments

Chisinau, 9 August /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet led by Natalia Gavriliţa at first meeting today had only one topic on the agenda - staff. The new government has decided to remove several state secretaries and officials.

Thus, the government voted for the dismissal of Gabriela Cuneva, State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, as well as of Iuliana Dragalin, Mariana Botezatu and Mihail Lupaşco from the positions of State Secretaries at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.

The government also approved the recall of Vladimir Golovatiuc from the position of Moldovan Ambassador to Russian Federation. In the same meeting, Dumitru Socolan, Daniela Cujbă and Gheorghe Leucă were released from the positions of Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. At the same time, the ministers voted for the appointment of Veaceslav Dobândă as State Secretary of the ministry.

Also today, the Gavriliţa Cabinet approved the dismissal of the secretaries of state at the Ministry of Justice, Tatiana Tverdun and Alexandru Pleşca, and the appointment of Veronica Mihailov-Moraru as secretary of state at the same ministry.

Resignations and appointments were also made to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where secretaries of state Mariana Grama, Cornel Lebedinschi, Gheorghe Balan and Sergiu Golovaci were released, and Sergiu Diaconu was appointed instead. Also in today's meeting, Rosian Vasiloi was appointed to lead the Border Police.

The new Cabinet of Ministers released Aurel Fondos and Vladimir Ilev from the position of Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defense, appointing Valeriu Mija and Sergiu Plop instead.

All state secretaries have also been released from the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, which is to be reformed. Thus, Mihail Machidon, Tatiana Nistorică and Ghenadie Iurco were dismissed. Sergiu Gherciu was appointed as State Secretary at Agriculture Ministry and at the Ministry of Environment - Rodica Iordanov.

Several resignations have been approved by ministers at two other ministries to be reformed. Thus, the members of the Executive approved the dismissal of Natalia Grîu and Ivan Gheorghiu - at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, as well as Tatiana Zatîc and Denis Cernelea - at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection. Also today, two new secretaries of state were appointed - Zinaida Bezverhnii and Svetlana Nicolaescu.

In its first meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers led by Natalia Gavriliţa also decided on the dismissal of several persons of public dignity. Thus, the ministers voted for the release of Anatolie Ghilaş from the position of general director of the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre; Elena Beleacova - from the position of general director of the Interethnic Relations Agency; Ghenadie Ţepordei - from the position of general director of the Public Property Agency; Viorel Iustin - from the position of general director of the State Agency for Intellectual Property, as well as of Valentina Buliga from the position of general director of the National Medical Insurance Company.
