Moldovan, Romanian governments to have joint meeting in Chisinau

Chisinau, 10 August /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița had a telephone conversation yesterday with Prime Minister of Romania Florin Cîțu, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Natalia Gavrilița thanked her counterpart for the congratulatory and supportive message expressed on the day of the inauguration of the new Government.
At the same time, Gavrilița thanked the Romanian government for the support provided to the Republic of Moldova, including for diesel donations, COVID vaccines, equipment and especially for supporting the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.
The two officials agreed to start preparing a joint government meeting in Chisinau. Another issue addressed was the resumption and extension of the intergovernmental agreement for non-reimbursable technical assistance. The sides agreed to set up a technical working group to prepare the agreement.
Florin Cîțu expressed his full support for the new Government in Chisinau by ordering to immediately start work on the entire bilateral cooperation agenda, in the spirit of the Strategic Partnership for European Integration of the Republic of Moldova.
