As many as 193 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 August /MOLDPRES/- A number of 6,482 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 193 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 18 import ones. As many as 261,000 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), two cases are among medical employees.

As many as 382 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 34 are in extremely serious condition (1 patient is connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 732 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 20,773 are under supervision at home.

Another 138 people have been treated. As many as 253,143 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of five other deaths caused by the new coronavirus, the death toll reached 6,291.
