Moldovan, German officials broach economic cooperation

Chisinau, 12 August /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration met today German Ambassador to Chisinau Angela Ganninger.

According to the MAEIE press service, officials discussed the next priorities on the bilateral agenda, including boosting political dialogue and intensifying trade and economic exchanges.

Minister Nicu Popescu emphasized the determination of the Republic of Moldova to carry out reforms aimed at modernizing our country and improving the living standards of citizens.

In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister thanked the German side for constant support in implementing the Association Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union, for expertise in many sectoral areas, and for generous assistance in combating the pandemic and recovering the national economy.
