Moldovan cabinet approves Regulation of Lower Prut Reserve

Chisinau, 12 August /MOLDPRES/- Cabinet members voted today for approval of the Regulation on operation of the Lower Prut Reserve.

Ministers approved the Regulation on Lower Prut Reserve operation; the territorial distribution of Lower Prut Reserve in accordance with the legal status of the lands; internal zoning of the Reserve; its Map.

The financing of the activity of the Lower Prut will be carried out within the limits of the state budget and other sources not prohibited by law.

The decision shall enter into force upon publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.

The reservation was included in 2018 in the World Network UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) of Biosphere Reserves, recognized by the Man and Biosphere Program (MaB).
