Moldovan government made new staff reshuffles

Chisinau, 12 August /MOLDPRES/- Cabinet members accepted appointment of Vadim Gumenea as Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy.

Also, in today's meeting, Igor Curov was released from the position of Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, and Valentina Ţapiş was released from the position of Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment.

Also, the Executive re-established, based on the court decision, Eremei Priseajniuc, in the position of general director of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices. Also today, the ministers dismissed Silvia Cebotari from this post. Priseajniuc did not stay to exercise his position because he was also dismissed, the ministers appointing Lina Gudima to this institution, as deputy head.

At the 12 August meeting, the government also released Rostislav Rotari from the position of Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defense, Sergiu Paiu - from the position of Chief of the General Inspectorate of Police, and Octavian Rău - from the head of the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology. Also today, Vasile Puşca, secretary of state at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, was released from office, but he will be in charge of a department in the reformed ministry, on the dimension of social protection.

The government also operated some appointments. Thus, Adriana Cazacu-Ţigae was appointed Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education and Research, and Alexandru Oprea - Secretary of State at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The cabinet members also released from office several representatives of the Government in the territory, such as from Bălţi, Căuşeni, Comrat, Hânceşti etc.
