Chisinau, 16 August /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration is closely monitoring the evolution of the security situation in Afghanistan, the MAEIE press service has reported.

In the first half of the day, Moldova joined the joint declaration of the international community, supported by over 70 countries, calling for Afghan citizens and foreigners wishing to leave Afghanistan to be allowed to leave, and airports and checkpoints of the border to remain open.
