Water supply project in Glodeni district running according to schedule

Chisinau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/- Management of the North Regional Development Agency (ADR) recently carried out a monitoring visit within the drinking water supply project of Cuhnești and Balatina villages, Glodeni district, financed from the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR). The specialists found that for the moment the project is going according to the schedule.

The ADR Nord representatives started their working visit to the Glodeni District Council, where they discussed with local authorities, designer, other parties involved in the program about the implementation of the following actions, as well as technical conditions to test the new water supply system and putting it into use.

Subsequently, the participants in the meeting went to the site of the water treatment plant near Balatina and to the site of the water collection station in the Prut river near Bisericani village, Cuhnești commune to collect facts about the current situation on execution of works.

The construction-assembly works within this project started in early November 2020. The total cost of the project, according to the procurement contract, is 38.96 million lei. Last year, 19.29 million lei were used under the project. At the beginning of this year, another 19.67 million lei were allocated for the completion of the construction-assembly works.
