Moldovan deputy premier meets Ukrainian envoy

Chisinau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Vlad Kulminski had a meeting today with Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova Marko Shevchenko, the Office of Reintegration Policies has reported.

The officials addressed various issues of mutual interest, in particular those related to the dynamics of the Transnistrian case, Chisinau's views on resolving current issues, immediate and short-term objectives in promoting the country's reintegration policies and mobilizing efforts to advancing the regulatory process.

The deputy premier appreciated the active role and the constant support provided to the Republic of Moldova by the Ukrainian side, bilaterally, in the international dialogue platforms, in the 5 + 2 format as mediator and in the Joint Control Commission as a participant in the peacekeeping in the Security Zone.

The need to deepen cooperation on several channels was also reiterated, including in order to ensure a common border management.
